(NEW YORK) – Roland Clark is known to take listeners on a soul-filled journey when he graces a track with his distinctive tone. The iconic house music producer, songwriter and vocalist recently embarked on an excursion with Agev Munsen for the summer groove, The Thing About Deep (Can Drum), and Vega Records follows up with a fresh arsenal of remixes by an all-star lineup: Zepherin Saint, Boddhi Satva, Mr. V, DJ Spen & Karizma.

As expected from the Vega label, newly released versions of the track represent the best in deep house music and mastering the mix. You’ll find it easy to get caught up in the moment as soon as the beat drops on each.

The UK’s Zepherin Saint (Tribe Records co-founder) delves into a sexy interpretation of The Thing About Deep with a jazz-tinged, horn-heavy section on the Tribe Vocal Mix and Instrumental, while strong Afro-beat influences flow throughout the Tribe Dub, Drumapella and Tribe DJ Tool mixes.

Mr. V takes another direction on The Thing About Deep with a Nu-Disco sound applied liberally to his Main Mix. Then, respected remixer and international sensation Boddhi Satva shifts gears with a more progressive feel, yet stays on course by offering an electrifying trifecta defying boundaries and breaking new ground. The smoking-hot Teknik and Ancestrumental mixes stand out instrumentally, and then he pulls off a complex layering of percussion on Boddhi Satva Beats. Signature touches by DJ Spen and Karizma round out this stellar collection of remixes that pay homage to a hands-in-the-air hit by Agev Munsen and Roland Clark.
